Forde: Idle USC should be #2

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

Seemingly holding SC’s bye week against them, ESPN’s Pat Forde has been so swept up by LSU’s two home victories against perennial doormat Mississippi State and the criminally overrated Virginia Tech that he feels the coaches and the AP voters MUST immediately make LSU #1 in this week’s polls. In another example of what is turning out to be a very predictable pattern, USC tops MSNBC’s just-announced preseason college football top 25 poll.
