Victory over Bruins nets Trojans a recruit
While USC had many recruits in attendance at the Coliseum for their 24-7 victory over UCLA on Saturday, one of those high school seniors was impressed enough with the Trojans to commit on the spot. Mater Dei offensive lineman Khaled Holmes gave his verbal commitment to the Trojan coaching staff in the postgame locker room.
The 6′5″, 290 lb Holmes, the younger brother of former USC tight end Alex Holmes, is rated four stars by Scout and Rivals, with the latter service ranking him the #5 offensive guard in the nation.
