For the second consecutive year, USC’s water polo team fell just short of a national title, losing another close match to the California Golden Bears. The Bears’ 13th national championship in water polo came during an 8-6 victory which saw the Trojans threatening to tie the game repeatedly in the closing minutes but ultimately coming up short.
