Monday notes: Rivers ready to return
Pete Carroll called his team in for a rare Sunday night meeting prior to the Trojans’ first practice of UCLA week on Monday–an indication, perhaps, that USC is indeed taking their upcoming matchup with the Bruins seriously. Some quick player notes:
- LB Keith Rivers (ankle) was able to practice on Monday, and indicated that he believes he will be able to play against the Bruins. He did not play in the ASU game after first hurting his ankle against Cal.
- DT Fili Moala (concussion) was held out of Monday’s practice.
