Freshman center Mamadou Diarra, who has missed all six of USC’s games so far this season while recovering from a preseason hernia surgery, is set to return to practice on Tuesday, reports Scott Wolf. The Trojans could certainly use the 7-footer for Thursday’s game against the Oklahoma Sooners, who present the tallest opposing lineup to date for USC, although given his lack of practice time and conditioning, it would be a surprise to see Diarra in a game anytime soon.
