USC re-enters polls

The Trojans reappeared in the two major basketball polls this week after winning three games in the Anaheim Classic Tournament last week, including a 25-point victory over then 19th-ranked Southern Illinois last night. USC is ranked 22nd by AP voters and 24th in the ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll. However, they won’t stay there for long, as the Trojans will face No. 4 Kansas and No. 3 Memphis over the next nine days, meaning that they can drop right back out again–or make a big move up the rankings.

  1. Funny that Southern Illinois is still ahead of us in the ESPN poll - and SC’s dismantling of the Salukis was on freakin’ ESPN2!! Watch you own network, voters!! Do your jobs or get out of the business!
