Trojans move up to #8 in BCS, AP

A victory over Arizona State on Thursday, coupled with the latest series of top-ten upsets, gave the Trojans their biggest jump in the polls in a month and a half. USC moved up three spots in each of the major polls, to No. 8 in the AP poll and BCS standings, and to No. 9 in the Harris and USA Today polls. The Trojans are now the top-ranked team in the Pac-10, and find themselves behind three other teams with two losses: LSU (BCS #7), Virgina Tech (#6), and Georgia (#4).
