Valet parking: If it’s good enough for the Lakers, …
Any Trojan basketball fan with an extra $25 burning a hole in his or her wallet may be happy to learn that valet parking has been added to the Galen Center for men’s basketball games this season. The service is available in front of the arena beginning 1.5 hours prior to tipoff–although we presume the whole point of it is to avoid having to show up 1.5 hours prior to tipoff. We are a little too lazy to do the research, but we are going to go out on a limb and state that USC is now the only school to offer valet parking as part of its game-day experience. And it’s a bargain compared to the Lakers’ new valet service at Staples Center, which runs a cool $110 per game.
The Trojans next play at Galen on Thursday, November 29th, when they host Oklahoma at 8:00p.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the valet in front of the Galen center… there were about 20 drivers waiting there to take your car…. almost used it myself, but then how could I justify paying 20 bucks for parking… for the Mercer game???
