Sophomore F Taj Gibson, who tweaked his ankle during Wednesday’s practice, was evaluated on Thursday and cleared to return to practice, and will play in the Trojans’ opener against Mercer on Saturday. However, fellow forward RouSean Cromwell, whose leg injury was originally considered minor, was held out of practice for a fourth straight day, and now seems much less certain to see action against the Bears.
