Would-be Reggie Bush business associate Lloyd Lake filed a civil lawsuit against the former Trojan tailback in a San Diego court on Tuesday, claiming that Bush and his family accepted almost $300,000 in gifts (including cash) while still attending USC. Bush has previously denied any wrongdoing, and Lake has a shady past (he has been in and out of jail, for example), but the latter plans to meet with NCAA investigators on Friday, which could advance the ongoing but seemingly stagnant investigation into potential violations of NCAA rules.
