USC announced its 2008 baseball schedule on Wednesday, with the Trojans opening the season February 22nd with the first of three games at Florida International. Led by second-year head coach Chad Kreuter, USC will play 25 games at home at Dedeaux Field and 56 in all, including a pair against UC Irvine and their first-year head coach–and longtime USC head coach–Mike Gillespie. The Trojans also have a three-game home series against defending NCAA champions Oregon State.
