CJ Gable out for season

It’s official: sophomore running back CJ Gable has decided to have surgery to correct a sports hernia and is done for the year. Plagued by a sore groin since training camp, Gable still participated in three games, running for 143 yards on just 13 carries. Because he did not play after the third game, he is eligible to obtain a medical redshirt and return next season with three years of eligibility remaining.
