Final pre-game roundup: USC at Washington
The Trojans will have a pair of new starters–CB Shareece Wright and LB Thomas Williams–as they take on QB Jake Locker and the 2-2 Washington Huskies in a 5:00p game (televised on ABC) at Husky Stadium in Seattle. The Trojans had beautiful weather for their walk-through at the stadium on Friday (see Trojan Ticker for some nice pictures), but there is a chance of rain at gametime, increasing as the evening progresses.
Here’s a roundup of the Saturday morning preview coverage in all of the major publications. As always, we’ll be back late Saturday night with a recap of the game.

Kurt Streeter of the LA Times is a big idiot. Why the hell did the Times cut costs by getting rid of Adande??? Streeter thinks that McKnight made a mistake by coming to SC because he’s not being featured the way that Reggie Bush was. Get a clue, Kurt. Did you watch ANY SC games during Bush’s freshman year?? He played extremely sparingly. There was also a stable of RBs at the time including Dennis, White, Washington, and more. McKnight will be a better player for having to compete for it. At least that what he chose! Give the kid a chance before you go hack journalism on him.
