Exhibition Recap: USC 102, Caballeros de Sinaloa 82
The Trojan mens basketball team was actually able to get in a game of basketball during their problem-plagued exhibition trip to Mexico this weekend, defeating Mexican professional team Caballeros de Sinaloa on Saturday night by a score of 102-82 behind 29 points by freshman forward Davon Jefferson and another 29 from freshman guard OJ Mayo. USC was originally scheduled to play a pair of games on Saturday and another two on Sunday, but due to hurricane damage and Caballeros not wanting to play another game, the Trojans will settle for just the one contest, which was played before a “crowd” of 250 fans.
