And has the coaching staff pretty much abandoned thoughts of the shotgun without a consistent reliable center here? I know O'Dowd is a stud - he's proved it during camp, and he looked incredible in the US Army All-Star game. Hopefully Byers will be able to help him out enough with the mental side of the game, and I'd love to see O'Dowd rooming with Spanos so they'd talk center 6 hours a day.
