Matt Kalil has a nasty streak
Eric Sondheimer of the LA Times profiles Servite offensive lineman and USC verbal commit Matt Kalil (brother of Ryan), who, since his decision to attend SC, has dedicated himself to hitting the weight room (he now weights 285 pounds), attending camps and continuing to become bigger, faster and stronger. Kalil also has a nasty streak that coaches admire: “It expresses how I play on the field…I go 100% every play. I like to knock people to the ground. That’s the fun part.” Clearly, the younger Kalil looks forward to making a name for himself:
I want them to know when they get off the field that they know they’ve played against Matt Kalil.
Kalil means business on the field (LA Times)
