Audio: Pete Carroll Interviewed on the PMS Show (8/29)
Pete Carroll spoke to Petros Papadakis and Matt “Money” Smith and addressed several issues leading up to the Idaho game: the Todd McNair animal neglect issue, preparations for Idaho and their coach Rob Akey, the decision to schedule Idaho, not looking ahead to Nebraska, the SC running back situation (”we plan on playing a lot of guys” including Joe McKnight, but not Chauncey Washington), shelving Heisman talk for now, the receiver rotation (”Ronald Johnson has had a fantastic camp and will play early”), whether the defense is the best Carroll’s ever had, and the coach’s love of James Brown’s music.
Petros & Money Show, Hour 2 (skip to 21:00 for the Carroll interview)
