Mayo era begins
Running in Monday’s LA Times is the first of what will no doubt be many OJ Mayo profiles, as today the freshman guard officially joins his teammates in practice for the first time, and begins his first–and probably last–fall semester at USC. In the article are a few more tales of Mayo’s professionalism, work ethic and leadership skills as evidenced by his behavior since arriving in Los Angeles earlier this summer. Mayo tells the Times that he wants the Trojans to “make a run for the Pac-10 title and the national title.” And he seems to believe it:
“I think with a lot of hard work and teamwork and determination, we should be able to get it done.”
