Just a couple notes resulting from the Trojans’ two practices today:

• Freshman PG Angelo Johnson has until September 17th to be certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse. If he is not cleared by that date, he could not join the team until the end of the fall semester (at the earliest).
• Daniel Hackett will find out on Monday if he has made the final cut to be part of the Italian national basketball team. If he did, he will miss the Trojans’ remaining early practices (and their trip to Mexico) in order to play for Italy in the FIBA European Championships.
