Pete Carroll told the media this morning that freshman RB Broderick Green has been certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse, which means he can now rejoin the team after sitting out the last two days awaiting the final word from the NCAA.  This announcement is important in that all members of this year’s Trojan freshman football class have now been deemed eligible by the NCAA.  Perhaps more important for the team is that they now have another tailback option in what was quickly becoming a riches-to-rags story at the position as a result of injuries and the departure of Emmanuel Moody.
