Trojan QB John David Booty and DE Lawrence Jackson are among the names on the preseason Walter Camp Award watchlist, which was announced today. The award is presented annually to the top college football player in the country as judged by a panel of head coaches and sports information directors. Previous USC athletes to win the award were OJ Simpson (twice), Charles White, Marcus Allen, Matt Leinart, and Reggie Bush.
