Adding yet again to his preseason honors, senior QB John David Booty was named to the Davey O’Brien Award watchlist on Tuesday. The O’Brien is presented annually to the top quarterback in the country (as judged by the Davey O’Brien Foundation), and is considered perhaps the most prestigious of the quarterback awards. No Trojan has ever won the trophy, which has been awarded since 1977.
