Louisiana man convicted in Francis murder

D’Anthony Ford was found guilty by a Louisiana jury on Friday on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated battery stemming from the shooting death of USC point guard Ryan Francis in 2006. He faces an automatic life prison sentence without parole.

The football office at USC announced that today’s 4 p.m. practice has been cancelled. The players will watch film tonight before their final two-a-day practices tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
