Open scrimmage set for Aug. 22

USC has announced that it will hold a scrimmage on Wednesday, August 22nd at the Coliseum, completely open to the public. The final scrimmage of fall training camp, the 8/22 event will kickoff at 7:15 pm, and will include a performance by the band. Admission is free, and parking is $10.

Trojans may add another player… twice

For Notre Dame High (Sherman Oaks) athlete Mike Stanton, the choice is either USC or Florida. The Florida Marlins, that is. A second round pick in the recent MLB draft, Stanton has until Wednesday to sign with the Marlins. If he doesn’t, he will enroll at USC and play for Chad Kreuter’s Trojans.

Forde: USC refuses to play it safe
