USC has issued a press release previewing the 2007-08 women’s basketball season. The Trojans, led by third-year head coach Mark Trakh, are coming off an injury-marred 19-11 season in which they failed to qualify for the NCAA tournament. This season, however, recovering players such as Brynn Cameron and class of 2006 top recruit Jacki Gemelos are healthy, and the team is expecting to reach the postseason.

The Trojans begin play on November 11th at UC Santa Barbara, with their first home game (at the Galen Center) one week later against Colorado. The team will also participate in a Thanksgiving-weekend tournament in the Bahamas.
