Scott Wolf is reporting in the LA Daily News that Pete Carroll “wants to get a long look” at heralded freshmen RB Joe McKnight and DE Everson Griffen, among others, during training camp, and he wants to see them play with the starters.  Carroll adds,

There will be a lot of emphasis on throwing (the freshmen) in and seeing them early…It’s not an exact formula. The key is to do a really good job on who subs in and with the rotations.

Carroll also mentioned that he wants “to see a lot more of” sophomore RB Stafon Johnson because “we didn’t get to last season.”
