Booty sees great opportunity, doesn’t feel the pressure

Gary Klein, the LA Times Trojan beat writer, previews the USC season with a focus on QB John David Booty and his potential return home to Louisiana for a  swan song in the BCS title game. Ready for his role as the face of the USC program, Booty is embracing the opportunity “with a sense of enthusiasm, not pressure.” As Pete Carroll notes, in comparing Booty’s preparation to that of Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart before their Heisman-winning campaigns:
