Tom House named assistant baseball coach

USC alum Tom House, who posted a career 3.79 ERA in parts of eight major league seasons after pitching for the Trojans in 1967, was named to head baseball coach Chad Kreuter’s staff as an assistant today. He joins assistant Doyle Wilson, who was hired in June. House has been a major league pitching coach (at one point coaching Nolan Ryan on the Texas Rangers), and also holds a PhD in psychology.
