MSNBC has Trojans ranked first
In another example of what is turning out to be a very predictable pattern, USC tops MSNBC’s just-announced preseason college football top 25 poll. In a short analysis of the team, MSNBC’s Joey Johnston comments, “This could be one of the best college defenses we’ve seen this decade,” and he expects to see the Trojans in the national title game in January.

With the Bruins at # 11, if both SC and UCLA go undefeated, we may have a #1 vs. #2 matchup in South Central on December 1st. I like it.
