For OJ Mayo’s bulletin board

Although Brandon Jennings is a year away from running a college basketball team, he has already started running his mouth. The highly-recruited point guard, who originally committed to play for the Trojans, only to change his mind and agree to play for Arizona, had this to say recently:

“I don’t respect West Coast point guards; they’re too Hollywood for me.”

Mind you, Jennings is a West Coast point guard (he attended Compton Dominguez), but lest you think that was solely aimed at new USC point guard OJ Mayo, he also found time to discount the abilities of UCLA recruit Jrue Holiday, saying that–unlike Jennings–”he’s not a killer yet.”

He isn’t guarded in his opinions (LA Times)
