Two Trojans are Cape Cod League all-stars
A pair of USC sophomore baseball players, RHP Brad Boxberger and C/RHP Robert Stock, have been selected to play in the Cape Cod League’s all-star game on July 28th. The Cape Cod League is considered the top summer league.
Boxberger, who was arguably the Trojans’ top starter last year as a freshman (3-5, 3.20 ERA), is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA and 22 strikeouts in the summer league. Although Stock has a 7.88 ERA, his batting has been better: .261 with three home runs and 15 RBI. He hit four round-trippers for USC last season.
