Scott Wolf is reporting that redshirt freshman OL Butch Lewis dropped 30 pounds after contracting a virus in Mexico. (What he was doing there and why he was drinking the water are questions that weren’t answered.) Although he is healthy now, at 265 pounds, he is a bit light for a lineman, so will presumably be eating quite a bit before the start of fall camp. Originally recruited for the defensive line, Lewis was on track to be a second or third string offensive tackle in 2007  after sitting out 2006.
