Class of 2008 Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde OT Tyron Smith has picked USC and will make a verbal commitment to the Trojans on Friday morning, both major recruiting services are reporting. Listed varyingly at 6′5″ and 6′6″ and around 265 lbs, Smith is rated 4 stars and the #7 OT overall by Scout, and 5 stars and the #2 OT by Rivals. He becomes the third OT to commit to the Trojans for next year, following Matt Kalil and Matt Meyer.
